Yoga and Health - Mind Your Body!
Science has now confirmed that there is indeed a "connection" between Mind Body and Breath. What has been known for millennia by the eastern traditions is that it is this connection is absolutely real and we now understand that it carries has two opposing forces, the Stress Response and the the Relaxation response. Understanding these processes and using techniques of yoga, meditation and breath awareness can help to establish balance and a sense of equilibrium throughout the body and mind. Traditional Yoga aims to "unite" these aspects, giving the individual awareness of the Self whilst cultivating an attitude to promote a healthy lifestyle.
